The Smooch! Project is a free, fun, family-friendly opportunity to participate in an ongoing, large-scale photographic documentary project. The long-term goal of this heartfelt effort is to collect 10,000 images of people from throughout the world demonstrating their affection for the loved ones in their lives.
Three Smooch! shoots are now scheduled at the Midtown Global Market and the project photographer, Bonnie Fournier, is very pleased to be bringing The Smooch! Project to this site. "The shoots at the Midtown Global Market are going to be a great help in the effort to include people from the great variety of cultures found in Minnesota," she said. " I can hardly wait to see the beautiful images we are likely to gather there!"
Midtown Global Market invites guests to a day of entertainment and learning as it hosts the inaugural International Dance Festival on Saturday, October 31 from 12 to 4 p.m

Dance groups representing a wide variety of countries will perform in the Market's Central Plaza, and will also offer break out sessions for those wanting to learn new dance moves.

Each Sunday, a chef from a Midtown Global Market restaurant will prepare and sell brunch from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Market's Central Plaza.
